SUPREME COURT RULES OBAMACARE PASSES
The Supreme Court ruled on the constitutionality of Obamacare. Money Talk News breaks down in plain English what it means for us.
http://www.moneytalksnews.com/2012/06/28/the-health-care-decision-what-it-means-to-you/?utm_source=Money+Talks+News+Updates&utm_campaign=email-2012-06-28&utm_medium=email
In a nut shell, no more caps on coverage, people won't be denied for pre-existing health conditions, dependents won't be kicked off their parents insurance at 21....it seems like a win for Americans. Just curious what else is attached to the bill and how will that effect the lives of Americans will it be for better or worse?
Only time will tell....

TED IS REAL
I had the pleasure of attending a screening of TED yesterday in Chicago at Roosevelt ICON theater.
I am a believer, TED is real. The movie was hilariously funny with devilish humor. The movie is about a young boy, John Bennet, played by Mark Wahlberg makes a wish and his teddy bear, Ted, played by Seth MacFarland becomes his best friend. The movie fast forwards to John's adulthood. He's dating Lori Collins, played by Mila Kunis and Ted, Lori, and John are all living together.
If you are a fan of Family Guy and its humor then Ted is definitely the movie for you. This movie will have you laughing from the opening scene until the very end.
While there is a "teddy bear" in the movie this movie is definitely not for children as Ted is real and he is definitely a grown "man" in this movie.
I give the movie 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, and an A+. Ironically I didn't want to see the movie. I went with someone who wanted to see the movie and absolutely loved it.
No I'm not a movie critic but wanted to share my experience.

See TED in theaters Friday, June 29th.

KARDASHIAN KRAZE
Since invading our TV screens on October 14, 2007 with their hit reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians
the Kardashians have been causing quite a stir. They are loved as well as hated by many. It is more interesting to learn why they are hated than why people love them so much.
Recently Oprah Winfrey interviewed the entire Kardashian/Jenner clan to find out what it is about them that has so many people talking. I read that Oprah had never seen the show before deciding to interview the family but took a crash course and watch all the episodes prior to interviewing.
I never understand how people hate others especially those they don't know. Of course they are on the airwaves for an hour once a week a few months out of the year and forever in the tabloids/magazines but that doesn't mean we know them. That reminds me of Twitter. People feel just because they follow you and read your tweets they know about your life. Um...sorry...but NO!
I remember being in the office and people saying that the Kardashian family is only famous for the infamous sex tape of Kim Kardashian and Ray J.
Amazingly, if those people are right this sex tape pushed the Kardashians into the public eye and has created a multi-million dollar empire. Ironically what said sex tape did for Kim Kardashian and the rest of her family, the same can't be said for Ray J.
Now in all honesty Ray J was already famous, I remember him from the a sitcom with Sinbad in 1993 and his sister Brandy was a popular R&B singer and actor in the 90's nevertheless, the sex tape has done nothing for Ray J's career like it is said to have done for Kim K and the rest of the Kardashian family.
In the interview with Oprah I liked Khloe's statement "I never thought of being famous, I wanted to be successful." Loosely quoted of course but this came up as her and Oprah spoke of all the famous people they grew up around and with. Fame never crossed Khloe's mind but success did. Kourtney let us know that she is still dealing with the fame of it all and doesn't really like it. Completely understandable.
As a rational thinking being I ponder ok Ray J and Kim created a sex tape in 2003. There mother began shopping a reality TV show for her family after seeing the Osbournes air in 2002. Nevertheless the mother told Kim, create a sex tape and in a few years I am going to shop a reality TV show of our family then we are going to release the sex tape and that will help our show become a reality. As a woman and a mother that sounds oh so very ridiculous. Nevertheless the public likes to believe what they want with little to no facts. Oh you don't like this or that person for this or that reason, neither do I! Sounds kind of ridiculous but hey.
Now as Kris Jenner stated to Oprah, after seeing the Osbourne reality show she thought to herself, her family could do the same thing. Why not, 2 famous fathers and 6 beautiful children the camera would love them. When I think of Kris Jenner, one word comes to mind when I think of her, HUSTLER. Hustler in a good sense all good business people have a hustle mentality. Kris is doing what it takes to keep wealth in riches in her family and creating a legacy for generations to come. They are living the American dream.
The truth of the matter Bruce Jenner, Olympic gold medalist, formerly on Wheaties boxes was/is famous before the reality show. The late Robert Kardashian Sr. became a known figure when he defended his good friend OJ Simpson in a public murder trial. This alone for me solidifies the Kardashian's as a famous well known family. They grew up in an influential neighborhood in LA around famous and influential people. What does that mean? They had connections and access to people. In life its not about what you know, its about who you know and who you get to know that will help you be successful. Networking is what its called.
For those hating the family, I see it as misplaced anger. Don't be mad because this family under the guise of momager Kris Jenner is using their celebrity and connections to their benefit. Instead of sitting around hating the family spend time working on making your own dreams come true.
We as people spend too much time worrying about stars that are living their dreams and multi-millionaires than living our own dreams.

RACISM OR CREATIVITY?
Racism or Creativity?
Jeremy Scott is an American designer that pushes the envelope when it comes to creativity. However, this time many felt he went too far with the Adidas JS Roundhouse Mid Sneaker. What are your thoughts? Is this shoe racist? Or is Jeremy simply continuing to explore his creative edge?

LEBRON, HEAT 2012 NBA WORLD CHAMPIONS
Just 2 years ago LeBron James made a controversial announcement. He was taking his talents to South Beach. Teaming up with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh, his goal, their goal, a NBA Championship.
Many fans and NBA lovers were upset. How could LeBron leave Cleveland? Why not stay and make it happen in Cleveland? The biggest problem I saw, Cleveland wasn't creating the team around LeBron to lead them to a Championship. Many hail Kobe as one of the greatest, how ever, Kobe was drafted to the Lakers the same year Shaq was traded. Kobe now one of the greatest players with 5 NBA Championship became an all star while on a team with all stars. The talent was there.
I think about the 6 time Champion, Michael Jordan, he had the talents of Pippen, Kukoc, Rodman and others to support his talents that lead to Championships. So why the hate and disdain for the "3 Kings" and how they went about creating a "super team". D. Wade got his first ring in 2006 after being in the league for 3 years. I remember one thing from my high schools mission statement, 'find a way or make one.'
LeBron had a goal in life and he did what it took to accomplish his goal. Let's celebrate him for that! He didn't break any laws or physically harm anyone so why so much scrunity? Truthfully most people jumped on the scrunity bandwagon because of what they heard the media and other people saying.
Unfortunately few people have minds of their own and their conversation is filled with things heard by the masses. Think for yourself, if it were you in LeBron's shoes what would you have done? Stayed with Cleveland despite it all? Sacrificed for Cleveland? A team that when it was ready would have traded LeBron at will with no qualms? LeBron's loyalty ultimately is to himself and his family. If he is happy that is all that matters right?
That is after all how you live your life, to make yourself happy and achieve your own goals? What makes him any different?
Congratulations to the Miami Heat the 2012 NBA World Champions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

QUIT YOUR JOB!
Thanks to an inability to sleep last night, another stream of income was found. While perusing the channel guide an infomercial caught my attention, Quit Your Job!
While I had no interest and buying the book the gentleman on the infomercial was selling I was interested in making extra cash. The basis of the book, money can be made posting advertisements to social network sites.
So I called on my good friend Google and searched get paid to place ads on social networks and wallah.... Wingsplay popped up. I checked it up and signed up. Based on my profile I have the potential to make $47/month from FaceBook and $9/month from Twitter. That is based on my profiles.
The good news is, you can make money too! I am all about passive income and exploring nontraditional methods to make money. As there are many ways to do it we just have to be open and explore the possibilities.
How can you begin making money? I thought you would never ask. Visit http://wingsplay.com/?ref=438ea1 and determine if this opportunity is good for you.

DOUBLE STANDARD? HALLE BERRY MUST PAY
Double Standard!
There have been mixed feelings on the
news that Halle Berry has been ordered to pay $20,000/month in child
support. The first thing someone said was why does she have to pay
and they have joint custody? Well if Aubrey is unable to give little
Nahla the same lifestyle and comforts she is used to in Halle's home,
Halle has to pay.
Now if the roles were reversed would
there be so many women asking why? There was even a post on Twitter
questioning why Halle has to pay $20,000 and Chris Bosh is only
paying $2,600. Let me be the first to say the child support system
isn't “fair”. Different judges, different states, heck even the
same state lead to different rulings. It is what it is.
There is no sure fire way to avoid
child support short of having children in wed lock and never
divorcing. Child support is an ugly subject that causes many tempers
to flare and ugly battles to ensue. 50 cent was paying $50,000
willing on his own to his sons mother and she took him to court for
more money. The end result the judge ordered 50 to pay $6,000/month.
I call that justice.
So with all of this women's liberation,
women wanting to be equal to men that also applies to divorce
settlements and child support orders right? That is what women want
to be completely equal to men....
I am sure Halle Berry isn't the first
woman ordered to pay child support.
If we are passionate about something we
have to be fair despite race, religion, creed, or sex. That's only
right, right? No double standards!
