There's a new campaign we've seen, Eat Meat not Wheat! We are ASSUMING the campaign is due to the fact that meat is "healthier" than meat.  We aren't here to debate that, we haven't done much research.  We personally have given up wheat and choose whole grains and other options when consuming bread.

For all those who say vegans must have meat.  Spirulina and other non meat based nutrients are in disagreement.

Magnesium is one of the most important minerals to the body. It promotes the absorption and metabolizing of other minerals, including sodium, potassium, phosphorus, andcalcium. This means magnesium is crucial to proper hydration, acid-alkaline balance, and muscle contractions, including the heart.

We are often told and educated on the importance of taking vitamin supplements, yet rarely are we educated on the necessity and importance of MINERALS.  Minerals and vitamins work together for our overall health.

Conversely, consuming too much magnesium typically causes diarrhea as the body attempts to excrete the excess. High magnesium foods include dark leafy greens, nuts, seeds, fish, beans, whole grains, avocados, yogurt, bananas, dried fruit, dark chocolate, and more.
