There is a challenge this month on Instagram for Black History Month, today's challenge post an influential African American Woman, I posted a few on Instagram but decided to release a blog today full of influential African/African American women of history and that are creating and making history today. It is important to recognize our ankhcestors, those who came before us, that laid the trail when there was none, those who set foot on the trails laid and set them ablaze. These are women of strength, courage, power, humility, grace, and compassion. These women are leaders, business owners, record setters and breakers, these women are simply awesome. This list is not all encompassing or comprehensive but it is a glimpse of the INFLUENTIAL women of today and yesterday. They are my inspiration!
