FINANCIAL FREEDOM FRIDAY'S - Shhh! Don't Say the "B" Word

Earlier this month we held our Wealth Wellness & Empowerment Conference.  During one of the presentations a guest expressed her dislike of the infamous B word, BUDGET!

Let's us clear some things up, a budget is not meant to restrict.  The purpose of a budget is to give you a clear understanding of where your money is going, what you have, and what you can do with it.  Too many people simply spend, swear the reason they don't have money is because they don't make enough and they don't truly know where there money is going.

If knowledge is power, better yet APPLIED KNOWLEDGE is Power, don't you need to know what's what with your money and finances in order to have POWER over them?

So what does a Budget Look Like:

You simply take your earnings and subtract your expenses!  What's ever left over is your discretionary cash.  If the number is positive that's great news you have positive CASH FLOW.  If the number is negative, you have negative CASH FLOW.  If you find yourself in the red or negative, the first thing to consider is what you can cut, that is the time you determine your WANTS vs. NEEDS.  Everything we want isn't a necessity.  If you find you've cut all that you can and you can't cut anymore and you're still in the red; it may be time to explore additional sources of income.

• Blogging & More
