RELATIONSHIP WEDNESDAY'S - LOOKING FOR A PARTNER NOT A PROJECT

Steve Harvey says.....this is dating advice he gives his daughters (April 2010 issue of Essence Magazine)

1. SET YOUR PRIORITIES - Before you go on another date, make two lists. One should have characteristics you want in a man. The other should outline what you will not accept.
2. DO A DAY-AFTER EVALUATION - After your first date, review your lists and tally up his scores. If the brother has 4 checks on the Things I Will Not Accept column and he's a bit sketchy on the Characteristics I Want IN a Man, drop him.
3. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME - You're looking for a partner, not a project. It's not your job to make over a man until he displays the traits you're seeking. You want a man who can meet your expectations without a lot of instruction.
