How much are we willing to be on ourselves? Like truly risk or gamble for our dreams, goals, visions, and desires? Are many of us behind on realizing the manifestations of dreaming big because we put more faith in security than freedom?
Let's talk about Elon Musk, I watched a special on him many years ago. Elon was a college student when he came up with the idea for a company called Zip 2. He stated he went to the University Dean and requested to leave school to start his own business. He asked the Dean to allow him to return to school, if his business venture didn't work out. The Dean didn't encourage his choice to leave school, nevertheless, Elon pursued his passion. Well in his 20s, Elon sold Zip 2 and became a multi millionaire. Since then he has taken gambles and risks, calculated, on himself and his business ventures and he's doing quite well.
However, this quote, once he received millions of dollars, he didn't think about what bills to pay, saving up, he immediately put his money to work in INVESTMENTS. One thing I learned in 2012 is that wealthy people don't keep their money in the bank. The bank is just the middle man, they keep their money moving in hard assets and INVESTMENTS.
One they understand money and that the dollar isn't worth a $1 or the paper its printed on. They also understand inflation and depreciation. I remember sitting in church listening to Bill Winston at Living Word Christian Center. He said, don't save for a rainy day, save for an OPPORTUNITY!
