A few weeks ago she was presented with an opportunity to work PT or be laid off. She chose to be laid off. So, I reached out to her to find out about her business endeavors and she responded she was looking for a J-O-B. Now the J-O-B is in the service industry which is great/awesome. I understand and will never knock a J-O-B heck I have one. I believe if you are doing what you love whether for yourself or someone else and you are happy, keep the party going.
So yesterday we were speaking and she said she felt like she wasn't being productive at home she didn't have much to do. I said well, you've created a name for your business, you can look into getting a logo, business cards, developing a website, setting a price list and services you offer, writing a vision and chief aim for your business. There is PLENTY of work for you to do.
When looking to go into business and escape the rat race, we have to be sure we are not still thinking like an employee. Again it is alright to be an employee however, when looking to go into business one must think like a business owner. I also told her to check out Take Charge Tuesdays here on Epiphany Essentials!!!!
Another good friend of mine told us if your side business isn't generating at least $50,000/year it is a hobby!
Whoa, definitely something to think about.
Take charge of your life, work for self, put in 8 hours to your own business once you start moving forward doors will begin to open.
Peace,
Love, Joy, Abundance, Health, Happiness, Success, and Vitality,
Namaste!
