WHY RENT WHEN YOU CAN OWN?
The more I go through life, the more the Word of God continues to confirm its validity in my life.
There is one scripture that always allows me to put whatever situation I am in into perspective,
Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose." All things - all things means ALL not some of the things in our lives but all of the things that we go through work together for our good.
The key is to remain steadfast and faithful to the Word of God and stand on His promises when faced with adversity, trials, or an uncomfortable situation.
How does this fit into the Why Rent When You Can Own topic, well, last week I was listening to Bill Winston and he said stop trying to figure things out with your natural mind and trust God. In the natural you would tell me that one must put 20% down on a home, have a credit score of 700+ and plenty of money saved in the bank to purchase a home. If you don't have 20% to put down you have to pay Private Mortgage Insurance on top of your mortgage payment.
So there are more than likely hundreds of thousands of Americans who believe that home ownership is just another part of the American Dream they may not experience. Nevertheless they are renting and paying anywhere from $750 to $3,000K/month here in Chicago that is. Naturally one would assume their rent payment would exceed what they are currently paying for rent.
Well let me introduce you to NACA - Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America www.naca.com
NACA is a great program that allows people to buy homes with NO Money Down and NO Closing Costs. How is that possible you may ask? I encourage you to visit their website, do your due diligence and if you are interested in buying a home attending one of their workshops. Whether you are on SSI or get a regular paycheck, whether you make $15/hour or 6 figures you can inquire about and use NACA to purchase a home as long as you don't own one right now.
