Knowledge Is Infinite, Where Should You Begin?

There is so much information out there from Agricultural to Zoology, how will you ever know where to focus you studies as a Business Professional?

Since we were never designed to know everything, I would suggest utilizing 2 approaches:

1) Decide what industry you want to enter. Then become the maven of that industry to the point that when solutions are needed, your name or business are within the top 5 recommended to call.

To achieve this level will not be a walk in the park, it will be a Double Deca Ironman Triathlon (2808 total miles). You must start to master the information by reading, studying, research and workshops.  This is why if you are going to do anything, you must be passionate about it. That way it will not feel like work, more like "your life's' work". 

 

2) Find an area of interest, not a passion just something that will add value and personal growth to your life. For instance a foreign language, technology, physical fitness or a second field of study like Psychology. None of these things will be useless to you, they will bring added value to your life and give your mind a break from your main focus.

For instance my other areas of interest consist of being a Licensed Illinois Insurance Producer for a major Insurance agency. I also am the host of the talk radio show "Own My Own" and I plan to start learning French and Spanish.

While these interest do not directly involve my passion of Entrepreneurship, they still remain useful in that industry. They will enhance my audience range and add value to my overall service.

Start finding things that will build your knowledge base in your industry of choice and other interest that will enhance the overall YOU!

WELLNESS WEDNESDAYS ~ EXERCISE YOUR BRAIN

When we think about our brains few of us think about the necessity to exercise it.  Many of us take our brains for granted.  When is the last time you thanked your brain for being the best computer ever created, unable to be duplicated, and for simply doing what it does? No, that was a serious question.

However, back to the topic.  Yes, your brain absolutely needs exercise and on a regular basis.

As always regular fitness, wellness and exercise is also great for the brain, however, you can and should exercise your brain as well.  Some of our suggestions for exercising your brain uplug the TV, turn off the cell phones, put down the electronic devices and play a game of chess, checkers, do a crossword puzzle, soduko, do a regular old fashion puzzle, learn a new word each day.

TAKE CHARGE TUESDAYS ~ CONSISTENCY

Consistency is the key to success with ANYTHING.  Think about this, if your child only went to school 1 day a week or 1 week out of the month, they would more than likely fall behind in school, miss a lot of test and quizzes as well as valuable time with their peers.  If you home school your children and you only taught them 1 day a week, their learning, retention, and abilities would be stifled.  Why?  Because that way of teaching and learning is inconsistent.

Many made New Years Resolutions to lose weight.  However, if they did not resolve to eat right and be active more so than not, their goals are in vein.  Why?  Because weight loss, staying fit and active, requires a consistent effort of eating healthy foods and exercising. 

We cannot think of anything in life that doesn't require consistency for success and mastery, the same goes for having a successful, thriving business.  Let's take for instance our blog, we have committed to providing choice contact throughout the week.  If we decided to skip a week here or there, are readers would not be assured that when they log on, on Monday's they will receive a fresh dose of Mindset & Motivational information.

Your business requires consistency, that consistency is needed because it is tied to the profits of your business as well.  We recently participated in a webinar facilitated by Christine Kane called Cracking the Cash Flow Code.  Christine mentioned two things that we would like to share with you involving business and making money with your business.

Money likes systems and money likes consistency! If you do not have set systems in place for your business, if you do things here and there or willy nilly as they used to say, then those are the results you will have willy nilly, here and there success.  You get what you put out there.  If you are not consistent with your business, your profits from your business will be inconsistent as well!

Hmmm.....something to think about eh?  Now some may be reading this and saying I am just getting started on my business.  This still applies as I will ask, what are you consistently doing daily to bring you closer to your goals for your business to be successful and up and running?  If you are already in business are you being consistent?  Are you always open on time, are you marketing and branding your business regularly, or are you simply expecting a financial windfall to come rushing into your bank account simply because the sign now reads Open for Business?

 

Be honest with yourself, are you putting in a consistent effort to see consistent results?  Are you prioritizing, managing, and allocating your time appropriately?  What systems do you have in place to ensure your business runs smoothly?  What systems do you need to create right now?

Please do not be deceived and fool yourselves.  Just because you find yourself busy all the time or seemingly putting out fires all the time does not mean you are consistent.  That simply means you do not have the necessary systems in place.  Of course, fires will appear, however, if you are consistently putting out fires, it is safe to say you are inconsistently being proactive with and in your business.

MINDSET & MOTIVATION MONDAY! ~ FAITH

"When you are in faith, you can't even consider if what you are believing for doesn't happen." Bill Winston #Supernatural2014

Let's break this quote down, When you are in faith, what is faith?  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

Let's break down this verse dow with definitions: 

Now - at this present time or moment
Faith - complete trust or confidence in something
Substance - real physical matter
Hope - a feeling of expectation, hope or desire
Evidence - proof, affirmation, confirmation; the available body of facts that a belief is true

So, if we re-wrote Hebrews 11:1 it would read "At this present moment, I have, complete trust that the real physical matter of what I want, my feelings of expectation, are proof, affirmation and confirmation of the things I cannot see."

So, are you in faith?  What is it that you are believing for?  Let's go back to our original quote.

When you are faith (the present moment, complete trust, that physical matter is proven even though you cannot see it) you CANNOT consider what you are believing for doesn't happen.

What does that mean?

That means once you believe something will happen in faith you are doing yourself a huge disservice if:

• You worry
• Lose sleep
• Speak against what you are believing for 
• Think about what if it doesn't happen
• Lose sight of your ultimate goal because of what things seem like

Why is that? Because at the very moment that you decided to believe in faith, what you believed for was done.  NOW....many people when they say Hebrews 11:1 they leave out the word NOW, NOW is a POWERFUL word.  NOW, at this present time or moment. NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW, NOW!

Whatever it is you are believing for in NOW FAITH, you HAVE IT, you are just waiting on the MANIFESTATION of it!

 

Sometimes we believe that things aren't happening fast enough.  We don't want to be patient, we want assurance that what we are believing for is going to happen.  NOW FAITH, NOW FAITH!  Think about the man that went to Jesus because his servant needed to be healed.  The man traveled from his home to meet Jesus and when he got to Jesus, Jesus told him, I am sorry I cannot come to your house to heal your servant.  The man looked at Jesus and told him, I know WHO you are and WHAT you can do, you are a LEADER, you give COMMANDS and not only people but things obey you.  All I NEED you to do is SPEAK the WORD for I BELIEVE in your POWER and know what you are capable of.  Wow, now faith, that is faith right there.  Could you imagine being Jesus and hearing a man that never met you before that day, say that to you?  That mans faith and belief moved Jesus because Jesus knew that is what was required for that mans servant to be healed.  So Jesus did just that he spoke the word and at that MOMENT the mans servant was healed.  The man traveled back home, all the way home, he had to believe that what Jesus said was done when Jesus said it although he could not physically see the manifestation of it yet. (Matthew 8:55-13)  NOW FAITH!!!!!!!

Now if there are some who do not believe in the Bible, that is alright.  If you see that story as merely inspiration the point of it is BELIEVE that you have what you ASK for WHEN YOU PRAY and YOU SHALL RECEIVE IT.  BELIEVE that you have WHAT you ASK FOR IN NOW FAITH and it is yours you are just waiting on the manifestation of it.

FINANCIAL FREEDOM FRIDAYS ~ HOW CAN I AFFORD THAT?

HOW CAN I AFFORD THAT?

How can I afford that, sounds much better than I can't afford that.  The question in and of itself challenges us to find a solution.  It is solution focused, not problem focused. Many of you that did budgets or already had budgets may appear to be in the red.  Now what?  Do you rob Peter to pay Paul? Do you go out and get a Pay Day Loan (stay tuned next week for that)?  What do you do?  Do you just decide that something won't get paid?  Do you work overtime?  Do you go and ask for a raise? Will a raise change your situation?  Or do you decide to go and get a 2nd job?  What is your thought process for making ends meet?  Do you simply want to make ends meet or do you want to have surplus, overflow, abundance?

We are asking a lot of questions of you as we want you to think.  Saying I can't afford that makes one seem powerless, almost victim like.  I want that but I can't afford it.  The word but cancels out anything said before it, so all the universe heard was I can't afford it, and the universe said alright, your wish is my command.  Now when you say, how can I afford that, you begin to think and get creative on ways to earn or make money.

If you've been reading this blog we've focused on Mindset and Taking Charge.  I think about in the Bible when God asked Moses what is in your hand?  So I ask you, what is in your hand?  What can you do to change your financial situation?  Are you living within your means?  Do you want to raise your means to live the life you desire?

Think back to the post about the can't word, can't should no longer be in your vocabulary.  Remember thoughts become things and we are only to speak what we want.  So, if you desire something say or ask yourself:

• How can I afford that?
• What do I need to do to own that?
• I can afford that

Your thoughts and words are powerful.  We don't have the answers as to how you can afford the things you desire.  We have hopefully thus far inspired you to change your thinking and possibly start your own business or side hustle.  You alone can answer the questions presented above.
