Wellness Wednesdays - Sun Gazing

This post and picture is credited to the FaceBook account of

As solar beings or children of the sun, understanding that we are solar powered and are to live our lives in accordance to sun cycles means all the difference for our melanin and conscious development. eating food pass sunset, at night, or in the morning is called break-fast because we are disrupting our natural melanin cleansing/detox/rebirth phases. this is why the ancestors would do their sun salutations/sungazing at sunset and sunrise because they knew our pineal gland/b...iological time clock was naturally in tune at these hours.
sleep is called the cousin of death, because everynight as we are internally imbued with melanin during our (melatonin cleansing) we enter our microcosmic death and rebirth phase that we call sleep(returning to darkness), and then we are reborn every sunrise!!! thus, our sun salutations "what most consider prayer" is the chakra/planetary alignment we go through to establish/enhance our protection/connection when we go into our "meditation" state at night as opposed to the typical calcified-low vibration sleep state which happens when ur out of sync with the cosmos, arent being uploaded, and are open to vampirism.

MINDSET & MOTIVATION - KNOWING vs. DOING

Knowing vs. Doing

Lately, I have found myself in a bit of a so called funk. I haven't had the motivation to do much of anything.  In no way, would I claim depression.  I haven't been a hermit or anything like that.  Its just my energy has been low and my will to leave the house unless absolutely necessary has gone out the window.

Nevertheless, I do practice what we preach here at Epiphany Essentials.  I have been doing positive affirmations.  I've started sun gazing, we will discuss that on Wellness Wednesdays.  Drinking water, eating healthy more often than not, breathing consciously and simply thinking positively for the most part.

However, I've had loss of apetite for many things beyond food.  I do realize that my thoughts dictate my feelings.  So, while I know better, I haven't been completely doing better!

This blog is about being human.  You can be the most positive, motivated person on earth. Doesn't mean you will be like that 100% of the time and that is OK.  It is alright to be human, it is alright to be, feel, and not it be deemed "negative" sometime.

Its simply not ok to stay there!  Once you find yourself wallowing in those feelings for days on end and it turns into a week at the minimum you need to re-evaulate some things and seek outside help/counsel if needed.

The truth is your feelings are dictated by your thoughts.  So if you feel depression, you are thinking negative self-defeating thoughts way too often.  You have the power to change your thoughts and your situation, however, you most empower yourself and believe that you are in control.

So, we will leave you with a blurb from The Power of the Subconscious Mind

"What you affirm consciously and feel as true will be made manifest in your mind, body and affairs.  Affirm the good and enter into the joy of living."

MINDSET & MOTIVATION MONDAYS ~ Just Not Feeling It

What do you do when you're just not feeling it?  Feeling what do you ask?  Not feeling motivated, not feeling like being in a positive mindset?

First things first, you allow whatever you are feeling to be.  Yes you allow it, allow the emotion, energy in motion, to flow through and out of you.  Don't feel bad, don't get upset about your feelings allow the feelings to happen.  Just don't wallow on those feelings for too long.

What's too long?  Anything of 24, definitely 48 hours is too long.  Remember your feelings are governed by your thoughts.  So when you are ready to change your feelings, change your thoughts to thoughts of love, peace, joy, happiness something other than what you've already been thinking.

Remember to focus on what you want, not what is. Focus on the positive outcome you desire, keeping in mind the law of attraction.  Remember to channel your vibrations properly to continue to attract love, peace, joy, happiness and goodness to your life.

Today I read hugging trees and meditating under trees is great for us and has many health benefits.

So if you haven't been feeling it lately its OK, if its been more than 48 hours it is time to get back on track!

Be blessed and be a blessing,

Namaste, Peace, Love, Joy, Abundance, Health and Vitality to ALL!

MOTIVATION & MINDSET MONDAYS ~ YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS

There are a few gateways to having a sound mind and healthy body - exercise, eating clean, drinking plenty of water, meditating, and reading.

Its amazing how many people struggle in life yet few of them read, feed their body the proper nutrients, and exercise.  Yet they desire wholeness.

What is being accepted is more people need mindset shifts than motivation.  Everything begins and ends with the conscious and subconscious mind.

Our August Book Club Book is The Power of the Subconscious Mind Complete and Unabridged by Joseph Murphy.

Over this month each Monday we will bring you excerpts from the book.  Feel free in joining us as we read and embark on this journey.

"This book is designed to teach you that your habitual thinking and imagery mold, fashion, and create your destiny.  For as a person thinketh in his subconscious mind, so is he.

Fill your mind with the concepts of harmony, health, peace, and goodwill, and wonder will happen in your life."

Be blessed and be a blessing.

FInancial Freedom Fridays ~ 10th Golden Rule of Retiring Rich

Rule 10: Maximize your income potential
Finally, if you want to retire rich, you need to maximize your earnings. That means no more settling for a dead-end job that pays pennies.
Look for ways to increase your income, which can, in turn, increase the amount of money you are saving for retirement. Consider these options:
  • Does your current field offer some form of credentialing that could increase your opportunities for a raise or a transfer to a higher-paying position?
  • Is there someone in your workplace who could serve as a mentor and help advance your career?
  • Are you eligible for one of the government-funded workforce development training programs?
  • Did you start a college program and never finish it? Will those credits transfer?
  • Could you use an online degree program or vocational classes through a community college to earn a degree or upgrade your skills?
Regardless of which option you choose, don’t fall into the student loan trap. If you do decide to go back to school, look for ways to make college affordable and try to pay as you go rather than going into debt.
Retiring rich may sound like something reserved for the one-percenters, but by making these smart money moves, you too can have plenty of cash to carry you through your golden years.

MINDSET & MOTIVATION MONDAYS ~ ALL BY YOURSELF

As soon as I wrote the title I thought of song lyrics, All by myself, I don't want to be all by myself. Well, sometimes it is great and necessary to be All by Yourself.

I remember growing up, when I would see people eating alone, at the movies etc.  I thought they must be lonely individuals.  One day while having a conversation with my mother, she used to travel for work, she stated how she enjoyed the time by herself.  It took me to get to my late 20s before I understood what she meant.  Now I find myself eating alone, going to the movies by myself, and soon I will take myself to the lake front or somewhere peaceful and quiet just to chill and relax and be, all by myself!

Today, I finished reading 'The Magic of Thinking Big'.  The last chapter was about leadership.  It stated that leaders spend time alone with their own thoughts regularly.  This is still a frightening thing for me to do, it is a frightening thing for many people to do.  To be alone, by themselves, with their own thoughts without distractions.  No books, no phones, no tablets, no TV, nothing.  Just you, yourself, and your thoughts, All by Yourself!

I believe it can be frightening because it forces us to go inside ourselves.  However, it also forces us to face many things about ourselves.  In that alone time, we are able to come up with great solutions.  That is if we are solution focused during this time.  This isn't the time to think about all that is wrong or have a whoa as me pity party.  This is a time to be real with yourself, think, reflect and examine your thoughts.  Are they self defeating or self motivating?  Are they thoughts of hopelessness or hope?

Once you determine that figure out where the thoughts are coming from.  Are you allowing outside temporary circumstances to dictate your internal feelings?  If your internal feelings are aligned with your outside circumstances, change your thoughts IMMEDIATELY.

Remember thoughts become things, what you think about you bring about so choose your thoughts wisely, your feelings will follow and so will the experiences in your life.

The book suggest spending at least 30 minutes alone each day.  This morning after reading, I made myself a cup a tea, I wrote out my creative visualization exercise from a couple of weeks ago, then I set on my couch with my tea looking at my vision board.  That was my quiet time all by myself with my own thoughts.  I also do yoga most mornings and some exercise all by myself.

It is a great thing to be able to sit in stillness with your thoughts and your breath.

Its time to be All By Yourself......

Be blessed and be a blessing.

Financial Freedom Fridays ~ Retire Rich Part 9

Rule 9: Work longer
Or at least wait to file for Social Security. While you can file for Social Security benefits as early as age 62, you’ll get a lot more money if you wait until you’re 70.
Once you hit your full retirement age, you can get an 8 percent bump in your benefits for every year you wait to start receiving payments. However, you’ll want to file by age 70 because there is no benefit to waiting longer than that.
You may be worried you’ll have one foot in the grave at age 70, but don’t fret. According to Social Security actuarial data, at age 70, you should still have an average of 14 to 16 years left to suck all the marrow out of life.
