Wellness Wednesday's - Meal Prep is Key

We are on a healthy eating plan.  An essential component of that plan is diet (healthy eating) and exercise.  This week it's all about strawberry, cucumber, grapefruit, and lime infused water.  Strawberries and pineapples, bananas and spring mix salad (not pictured).

Mason jars are a great way to store fresh fruits and produce and keep them FRESHER longer than a ziploc bag or plastic container.  You're going to have to trust us on this one, however we guarantee you, you won't be disappointed after you invest in mason jars!

During the winter months, however, summer especially our crock pot is our best friend!  It's great for the summer time for someone like me without central air in my home.  Today I seasoned a chicken to perfection and added some zucchini and squash.  Dinner will be ready around 7.  We eat left overs in my home some this week it's all about chicken, veggies, salad, and fruit!
