RELATIONSHIP WEDNESDAY'S - YOUR MOST IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIP

The Most Important Relationship in your life is your relationship with God. It is the foundation of every relationship you will have in your life. Your relationship is unique and is yours and yours alone.

We all know that in order to build a healthy relationship there must be love, trust, communication, and fellowship. Just to name a few....

LOVE - these are a few things that the bible says about loving God and him loving us.

I John 4:19 "We love him, because he first loved us."
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Mark 12:30 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength."
Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
Romans 8:38-39 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,m neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Now that is love, God gave his only son for you and I, nothing can separate us from his love, if I love him all things work together for my good.....God is Love!
TRUST - why you should trust in the Lord
Proverbs 3:5-6 5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.a
Leviticus 19:4 "'Do not turn to idols or make gods of cast metal for yourselves. I am the LORD your God."
Isaiah 50:10 "Who among you fears the LORD and obeys the word of his servant? Let him who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the LORD and rely on his God."
Isaiah 26:4 "Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal."

Communication - Prayer, Praise, Worship

James 5:13 "Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise."
Matthew 26:41 "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak."
I Thessalonians 5:17 pray without ceasing,
Psalm 150:1 "Praise the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens."
Psalm 113:1 "Praise the LORD! Yes, give praise, O servants of the LORD. Praise the name of the LORD!"
Psalm 67:3 May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you."
John 4:24 "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."
Philippians 3:3 "For it is we who are the circumcision, we who worship by the Spirit of God, who glory in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh--"
Revelation 14:7 "He said in a loud voice, "Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water."
Song of Solomon 1:4 "Take me away with you--let us hurry! Let the king bring me into his chambers. We rejoice and delight in you; we will praise your love more than wine. How right they are to adore you!"

Fellowship

I Corinthians 1:19 God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.
2 Corinthians 13:4 "May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all."
Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart."
Hebrews 10:25 "Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."
Psalm 100:4 "Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name."

Love, Trust, Communication, and Fellowship are four key components to any healthy relationship not only your relationship with God. It is important to spend time with God daily to give Him undivided time daily, regularly. A relationship cannot be built with someone if you do not spend time with them and get to know them. Read his Word, study His Word, learn how He feels about you and how important you are to Him. Then learn what it is that he wants from you and what position He desires to have in your life.

Deuteronomy 5:6-8 6“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. “You shall have no other gods beforea me. “You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 9You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 10but showing love to a thousand [generations] of those who love me and keep my commandments.

When you begin to put God first, and to seek Him and His Kingdom and His Righteousness all good things will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). So whatever it is you desire and you are searching for can be found first in your relationship status with God. NOTE: This doesn't mean everything in your life will be perfect it does mean your heart, mind and spirit will be at PEACE!

Be a blessing and be blessed,
