FIND A WAY OR MAKE ONE

This morning I was watching Creflo Dollar, he was preaching from his series Breaking Free into Abundance. The message started with Creflo teaching on the need for obedience. He simply stated "If you want what Jesus had, you must do what Jesus did." Jesus never grew tired of advancing the Kingdom of God. Jesus told his parents when they found him in the temple, did you not know that I was about my Father's business (Luke 2:49). No matter what, Jesus was about his Father's business and we need to do the same. Jesus was consistent.

Consistency leads to breakthrough. If we are looking for breakthrough in our lives and expecting something we need to consistently be obedient, consistently attend church and study the Word, consistently give, consistently love, consistently do unto others, we need to be CONSISTENT!

During this time of consistency or just in general, the enemy will try and throw things our way to get us discouraged or get us to say the wrong things. Nevertheless we must stay consistent. Something may break in our home or on our car, the kids may be acting up, any and everything could be going "wrong", nevertheless you must confess with your mouth I am blessed, stay CONSISTENT. Do not let your feelings cause you to lose consistency!

Then Creflo stated we are children of God, we have angels watching over us why are we waiting on what we can take? For scripture says the violent taketh by force (Mark 11:12). He then asked the question why are you waiting, if there isn't a path already to get what you need or where you want to go, CREATE ONE. Find a way or make one.

That made me think back to my days at Providence St. Mel, everyday we recited this in the morning:

At Providence-St. Mel, we believe. We believe in the creation of inspired lives produced by the miracle of hard work. We are not frightened by the challenges of reality.... So we work, plan, build and dream - in that order...With God's help we will either find a way or make one!

How can you make a way when you can't see a way? With God all things are possible. Our job is to do what we can do and let God do the rest. We must believe that a way can and we must walk by faith, not by sight. Then we must trust God and be obedient to His Word no matter how "crazy" it may seem. His Word says when you hear my voice do not harden your heart. Do what God tells you to do. Do not depend on your own intellect for eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man the things God has for you.

Moses didn't believe that he was the man to go before Pharaoh to tell the Egyptians to let God people's go. Nevertheless, Moses was obedient. God worked through Moses and eventually Pharaoh let the Israelites go.

Believe God's Prophets, trust God and you will be able to find a way or make one for He will make a way out of no way! What is impossible for man is possible with God!
