THE SUPERNATURAL IS NORMAL

Some may have already known this but this concept is definitely new to me. I am just blessed that I am at a place where my spirit and soul are willing to receive the information because I am not allowing my flesh time to try to process it intelluctually. Which leads me to the scripture that was shared with me yesterday in service:

Matthew 17:24-27

The Temple Tax

24 After Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma temple tax came to Peter and asked, “Doesn’t your teacher pay the temple tax?”
25 “Yes, he does,” he replied.

When Peter came into the house, Jesus was the first to speak. “What do you think, Simon?” he asked. “From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes—from their own children or from others?”

26 “From others,” Peter answered.

“Then the children are exempt,” Jesus said to him. 27 “But so that we may not cause offense, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours.”

Some powerful things happened in this scripture particularly in verse 27. Jesus instructed Peter to go fishing to get the drachma needed to pay the temple tax for it would be in the mouth of the 1st fish he caught.

  • 1st Peter obeyed Jesus without question and did just what he said - FAITH!

  • 2nd Fish do not, as far as I know, with my intellect produce $ - SUPERNATURAL

  • 3rd There was enough in the fish mouth to pay Jesus' and Peter's temple tax - SUPERNATURAL

  • 4th Jesus didn't say oh what shall we do, we must go and work to pay the temple tax, or we must go out and beg for the money, no he said go fishing and get the $ we need - FAITH

Last week in my blog about Faith I stated that Faith dominates and Faith creates. This is another example of faith creating. Jesus' faith created the $ needed to take care of the temple tax without a thought or a worry.

I am sure there are some far out far fetched things that the spirit told you to do and unlike Peter you didn't do it because your intelluct (flesh) was trying to tell you that it didn't make sense. So let me remind you.

"With God ALL things are possible." Matthew 19:26b

"Is there anything to hard for the Lord." Genesis 18:14a

"The earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof." Psalm 24:1

Light was created by God through Faith. There was darkness and he simply spoke Let there by light. "Be imitators of God, therefore as dearly beloved children." Ephesians 5:1

For God and Christ, the Supernatural is normal. We were created in His image and likeness and we are to be imitators of us therefore, the supernatural should be normal for us as well. Scripture tells us that with God all things are possible, you body is the temple of the Living God, God is within you and with Him ALL things are possible. You can have above and beyond what you can think and or imagine.

Its time for us to get rooted in love (God) and live by faith! When we do that there will be so much super on our natural that the supernatural will be our norm.
