MONEY IS A TOOL, USE IT WISELY!

Money is a tool that is needed to buy things and provide the basic essentials needed if you live in modern, "civilized" society.  Money, the love of it, is also, the root of all evil.

Why is money the root of all evil?  Because people lie, steal, kill, destroy, betray, deceive, backstab, they do whatever they can for money.  Why? because society shows us through media how the "rich and famous" live, they sell the American dream, and many of us buy into it at any cost.  We want to live the good life, we want a piece of the American pie even if it means having to kill our neighbor, steal from the local business or another persons idea.  Some will do whatever it takes to be rich/famous, even sell their souls!

There is nothing wrong with liking nice things and wanting to enjoy the "finer" things in life BUT who determines what the finer things are in life and why?  What if we pursued, thought, dreamed about, focused on and sought happiness, peace, joy, and love, each day the way we did money?  Our world guaranteed would be different, dare I say better, BUT never the less, most of us don't.

Most don't because they suffer from a me and mine, lack mentality.  If I give to you, I will not have, mine won't have therefore I cannot give.  If the world thought like that many people would be far worse off than they are now.  I understand all are trying to live, eat, and be at a certain comfort level and I see nothing wrong with that.  If your dollars have been earned honestly, your conscious is clear and you sleep well at night, more power to you!  I believe in saving, investing, planning, building, I also believe in GIVING.

Think about this, make a fist with your hand right now and look at it.  A closed hand cannot give nor can it receive.  Only when one gives do they have the ability to receive as well.  We have to change how we think about money.  Too many politicians and business men have been caught stealing money, laundrying money for what?  Many of them making over 6 figures but for them its not enough because they want to be like or keep up with someone else.  Or they have some debt that must be paid or whatever thoughts are going through their minds to make them lie and steal, or simply GREED.....

The average person thinks if I made 6 figures I would be fine with that.  Yet, you make 5 figures and there is someone who only makes 4 figures that feels the same about you.  See?  There is always someone worse off than you, does that change your situation? Of course not BUT the thoughts of each person is the same IF...THEN...

Someone will always be better, have more, do more etc. than someone else and that is ok.  If you love your Ford Fusion great, if you love your Mercedes S600 great to each their own BUT want what you want because you want it, not because you want to be like someone else or have what they have.

Money is a tool, it is not an end all be all.  Money cannot buy the things that matter most, family, friends, love, happiness, joy.....Now some foolishly spend thinking they can buy those things BUT the most valuable things in life cannot be bought.  Once we're gone we cannot take the money with us.

This is not to say lack ambition and goals BUT it is to say always keep in mind what is truly most important in life.  If you want to be a billionaire GO for it, strive for it BUT don't miss out on precious life moments pursuing any dream/goal as it is in the journey that we learn the most not in the final accomplishment.  Once we accomplish one thing best believe we will set another goal to accomplish something else.  Again, fundamentally, that is alright.  Just make sure in your effort to create a better life, you are LIVING and have an actual LIFE.

As after all when its all said and done, money is simply paper printed and given value by our belief and strength in our economy and the economy of the world.  In short, money is what we make it.

So use it wisely, use it to build, encourage, grow, support, uplift, and change.  Don't simply use it to buy shoes, jewelry, cars, houses, and clothes you really don't need.

"Too many people spend money they haven't earned, to buy things they don't want, to impress people they don't like." Will Smith

When you are lying or your death bed or in your old age, you will remember less the material gifts you received and the "toys" you had unless they had sentimental value.  What you will remember is the people, time, places, things, and moments that brought a smile, laugh, or great memory.  You will regret time you didn't spend and moments you missed.  Balance is key to all things.

Does money obey you or do you obey money? Money should be your servant, not your Master.  Personal mantra: Money is my servant not my master!

Be a blessing and be blessed! Namaste! Peace! Love! Joy! Blessings! Life! Live! Grow! Health! Wealth!
