If you are like myself you have older people in your family or maybe you are that older person that believes that with age and over time the bodies ability to do certain things declines.  While scientifically in some cases this is true in many ways this is extremely false.

Your current age doesn't determine the state your body is in.  You can be a 35 year old but your body, heart, and other organs are functioning as if you are 60!

Take Care of Your Body, MOVE YOUR BODY!

What you do TODAY determines your tomorrow.  You don't have to hit the gym 7 days a week or at all in order to have a healthy body.  You simply need to move your body and do something today that your body will thank you for tomorrow.

Simple things like stretching, few people stretch on a regular basis.  Whether you work out or not, you should stretch when you get up, every time you get up.  I think about my dog, every time my dog gets up he stretches and usually does the yoga pose downward dog.  A dog that doesn't have well at least we don't think they have the capacity to think like a human being has sense enough to stretch, so why don't we?

Getting a staying fit doesn't have to be strenuous or life changing.  If you work in an office you can look up exercises that can be done daily sitting at your desk.  Dancing is a great way to get and stay fit.  Just turn on some music while you are at home and MOVE YOUR BODY! Yoga, Ballet, Walking, Jogging, Bike Riding, Skating, Zumba etc.  There are simple exercises you can do at home jumping jacks, squats, leg raises, crunches, burpees, push ups, jumping rope and more using your own body weight no equipment needed.

There is no excuse as to why you are not moving your body everyday.

So the next time you equate your bodies stiffness and lack of flexibility and mobility to old age remember it is your lack of movement that is causing the problems.

Peace, Love, Joy, Abundance, Health, Happiness, Success, Vitality, NAMASTE!
