WELLNESS WEDNESDAYS ~ THE BENEFITS OF BANANAS

We saw these helpful informative benefits of bananas on FaceBook posted by Food Matters and wanted to share.

Bananas combat depression, make you smarter, cure hangovers, relieve morning sickness, protect against kidney cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis and blindness. They can cure the itch of a mosquito bite and put a great shine on your shoes!

If you don't eat more bananas or simply use them to shine your shoes.  Who knew bananas did all of that.  The best time to eat your banana is when they are ripe with spots on them.   They are usually less firm, when they are ripe, in our opinion, nevertheless that is when they have the most benefits for you.
